A Right Pair of Queens

Salutes and hip hip hoorays
Didn't wake up early afterall. Not until the mini cruises started, taking people out to see the ships. Upon peeking around the corner of the curtain this morning, an executive decision was made not to go out, as it was raining. Visibilty is too poor for decent pictures anyway. A good excuse for laziness.
The QE2 looks weeny next to her big sister.

Hope you've had a wonderful in spite of the poor weather loads of people.

Oh, I've come up with a plausible excuse for the QE2 ship being weenier than the QM2 ship... the present QE2 is the granddaughter of the former QM2, isn't she?

I never was any good with history, unless it was positively ancient, ancient.

He he, very good! It's debatable tho as to whether both are anything other than successors to the first ships of the same name...

Yep Charlie. It's halyard clang clag, whoooo when it kicks up, something we are used to and don't notice anymore. However, the number of times a loose halyard has kept me awake in calm conditions and resorted in a trip onto the pontoons to find the offending boat though, to lash the thing down...
