New Forest Cowses

This was about as close as I could get to these fluffy little cows as to the right of the picture were some flippin massive ones that might have got a bit tetchy had I approached them.
It reminded me of a walk on the Isle of Wight last year which took us through some fields full of cows. It was only after the second batch of rather large, twitchy heifers that I remember suggesting that perhaps it would be prudent to remove the red sailing jacket. I have wondered now and then whether it actually worked or whether we were so knackered after a few miles that we'd stopped noticing them.
