Doings part II

Forecast weather for the weekend prompted a quick phone call this afternoon, to a harbour around 15 miles away, hopefully to reserve a berth for Saturday night. Glorious daytime temperatures plummet at night this time of the year and heating is a must, unless I fancy trotting around on deck in my sleeping bag.
We managed to get a few hours on the water this evening, the latter hour in fading breeze but were the only ones out, so practiced some kite work, though the spinnaker barely filled.
I've stocked up on vaccuum packed and canned stuff we never eat at home, plus enough bacon to last a month and have located the boat skillet in the cupboard behind the bog.
The only thing left to get is fresh bread.
Note to self: Must not get pissed on Friday night as we're up and off first thing the next morning.
Another boring video below filmed by the gadget nerd, this time without any poxy editing.
